Aditya is the owner as well as the chief
instructor at VLS. He has been a professional dancer since
1997. He is one of India’s Salsa Pioneers and a leading exponent
and instructor of Latin American Nightclub dances,
having
been introducing and training people in these since early
2004.
He has received training in Salsa and other Latin dances, Afro Cuban (Los Orishas)
and Afro Cuban Rumba from some of the world’s greatest Salsa dancers and teachers from different parts of the world and hence offers world class instruction for his students.
He was invited to teach and perform at the India International Salsa Congress in Bangalore in August 2006, 2007, 2008, and at the Chennai Salsa Festival in December 2007.
His students have also won the 1st place at the salsa championships at the International Salsa India Fiesta 2005, held in New Delhi, and placed 2nd at the India International Salsa Congress in Bangalore in August 2007.
As a choreographer his productions have been highly rated and have won many awards.
In October 2007 Aditya was the judge and choreographer for the Eastern Zone for an all-India Latin Dance competition Aaja Jhoom Le aired on Zoom Television (National Television) in the same month.
Raghvendra Upadhya
Raghu is a founding member and he also happens to be Aditya’s elder brother, who has helped in the initial formation of VLS and offers his expertise as a Brand Manager.
He is currently the senior Vice President of a power company in Mumbai

Shaneel Mukerji
Shaneel is an instructor and Operations Manager at VLS. She runs her own consultancy firm “Creating Connections” which works with Autistic Children and their parents.
Neha Bhatnagar
Neha is an instructor at VLS. She currently works for FACT .
Nayantara Kamath
Nayan is an instructor at VLS. She is probably the youngest VLSan & is in her 10th grade.
